Shining a Light on Teachers: National Teachers Month

In every classroom, there is always a teacher who works tirelessly, often going beyond the call of duty to provide an extraordinary education. Teachers are sometimes treated as if they are machines, expected to work endlessly, yet they still manage to nurture the mental, physical, and emotional growth of their students. They do more than just deliver information—they create an environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving, allowing us to become the best versions of ourselves.

This month, as we celebrate National Teachers Month, we honor the dedication and hard work of teachers who continually strive to give us a brighter future. I also hope that they continue to find the patience and strength to persevere in their noble profession, despite the challenges they may face. Let us all take this time to express our gratitude and respect for our teachers, for they truly deserve it, not only during this month but every day of the year. Their influence shapes not only individuals but also the future of our communities and society at large.

Fostering Resilience: Exploring ways to build a greater Philippines

The Philippines is a country known for being warm and hospitable towards foreigners but it is also facing many challenges that make the country experience difficulty in staying strong. One problem is the location of the country which has a lot of active volcanoes and are prone to frequent earthquakes, making the economy difficult to cultivate, Second is the climate change which makes the typhoons stronger and continuously increase of sea water level, harming people who lives near coastal areas. Third, extreme poverty and underemployment. People who don't have financial sources or support may experience hard- ship when it comes to needs on a daily basis, worst when calamities or disasters occur. Fourth, the country needs better roads that can be helpful when emergency happens and can also help businesses grow especially in the country side. Lastly, people are also concerned about the government, where politicians work is not being done properly, corruption is taking place, causing hardship for the people they are supposed to serve.

Despite facing immense hardships and suffering, the Filipino spirit remains unyeilding. In the wake of natural disasters, communities railled together, offering support and a helping hand to those in need. Neighbors become lifeliness, sharing, food, shelter, and a sense of hope during the darkest hours. The government, too, steps up, mobilizing resources to provide immediate relief, medical care, and long-term recovery assistance. This un-wavering spirit of resilience and solidarity is a testament to the strength and compassion that lie at the heart of the Filipino people. this spirit of unity and resilience is a powerful force that helps filipinos overcome any obstacle. It is a reminder that even in the face of adversity, human spirit can prevail.

Filipinos are strong and never give up. To make the Philippines even stronger, everyone needs to work together. We need to build things that can withstand disasters, protect the environment, and help communities keep themselves safe. If the government, community groups and businesses all work together, we can make a big difference. By solving the problems that make the Philippines vulnerable, improving what were already doing, and trying new ideas, we can overcome challenges, become stronger, and build a future for everyone. This means working together to create a country that is safe, healthy, and prosperous for all Filipinos.

Beloved Leader

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

         Dear President Marcos

I am writing you this letter to express my thoughts about the things you do or have done for our country and its people. First, I'm really curious about how you got your position as a President of our country even though you don't have a college degree because for me, education is important. Not just because you are the son of the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. I'm also thinking about how you handled and managed our economy. During your election campaign in the year 2022' you stated in your platform that you'll be declaring a new price for rice and make everyone have their own internets But I believe that there is a reason why you're destined to be the President. I hope that in the future, you'll be able to do or fulfill your duties and work as our beloved President.

Sincerely, Shaneah Astom

The Story of My Life

Have you ever thought of how people see describe you? My name is Shaneah Mielle Elejer Astom, 15 years old and living happily with my mom, dad and my little brother. I may not know my self that well yet but I am willing to explore and discover everything that can help me grow. I am the first daughter and the eldest child my parents have. I carry the responsibility of being the big sister to my little brother and the responsibility of being the eldest child. Nevertheless, they support me in every little thing I do.

As a student who belongs to the STE (Science, Technology, Engineering) Program. Even if the people around me doesn't force me to do things I don't want to do, I, myself is pressured because of the high expectation I have for my self. However, I found ways to always be positive with everything I do and learned how to love and manage it without any complaints. I describe myself as a jolly, independent and reliable person but before, my insecurity kicks in as I often compare myself to other people but now, I learned to love my self and develop confidence overtime.

I've always dreamt of being a Doctor because I want to help other people who has disease or people who needs help. I want to be the bread winner of the family, help financially, I want to be successful for me to be able to have what I want. For now, I see myself not having a husband and kids but maybe, in the future, I'll change my mind. I've always wanted to be a helpful being not just in my family but also to other people.
